SoHo Education Center
Project completed through the American Institute of Architects’ 2021 summer program “Design for Social Justice.” This building concept sits on an empty lot in SoHo, Manhattan and acts as an environmental education center, including a museum, community garden, solar panels, and greenhouse.
Model Facade: Cardboard and paper (9”x 6”x 6”).
First floor concept: welcome space, offices, and conference area.
Second floor concept: environmental museum.
Third floor concept: gathering space, seating, and atrium greenhouse.
Roof concept: community garden, solar panels, and greenhouse overlook.
